CAST IRON STOVES

IRON DOGS,
BRUNNER

The Iron Dog cast iron stove from the German company Brunner is produced in Germany.
It is a product of the highest quality, as is clear from the name "iron dog".
It is easy to use, low emissions and is an economical product.
It is a machine designed to last over time thanks to the cast iron and the stainless steel thread.

TECHNIQUE

The combustion air duct is designed for slow and stable degassing of the logs.
The air (1) directly accesses the embers basin and causes the degassing to start.
Subsequently, the air (2) keeps the glass clean and oxygenates the unburnt gases before the discharge channel (3).
Pushed into the back of the chamber, the gases are mixed with other air (4) and brought to post-combustion.
Control is performed by means of a single lever (5).
The degree of efficiency is given by the heat collection surfaces combined with the studied gas deviation.

    COLONNA Lite is produced by LEDA, a historic factory in the Frisa region of Germany, which has been producing cast iron ovens and stoves for over 145 years.
    The combustion chamber of this stove is designed in such a way that wood burns atlow emissions and generates maximum thermal energy. The cast iron combustion chamber has considerable thermal advantages as it is extremely heat-resistant and remains dimensionally stable.
    With a nominal output of 6 kW, COLONNA Lite is also ideal for well-insulated houses or apartments with low heat demand.

    Wodtke - founded in 1964 - is a Swabian company based in Tübingen.
    At Wodtke, not only are the products ecologically designed. In the Wodtke innovation center there are more than 1,000 m² of test laboratory, model workshop and prototype construction, construction, industrial design, demonstration / test room.

    Wood stoves with heat storage

    A recent innovation for the stove is the Wodtke heat storage module.
    A huge storage block absorbs the heat from the combustion chamber and brings it back slowly into the room in the form of radiant heat.
    In this way, the stove ensures you can enjoy the fire and the heat for many hours.


    Stoves with HiClean filter

    Thanks to the innovative filter material and the sophisticated air duct, emissions and fuel consumption are reduced effectively, efficiency and radiant heat exchange increase significantly.
    This result far exceeds the existing limits and, with almost no emissions and maximum energy efficiency, the considerable perceived well-being has further increased.
    To continuously optimize the combustion process of our stoves with the policy and to reduce the resulting emissions, Wodtke, in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics has developed another innovative HiClean filter (HCF 02). This new technology is largely maintenance-free, extremely durable and requires no additional electronics or chemical catalyst.

    Water heaters 

    Wodtke water heaters have a very high degree of efficiency of up to 85% and optimally develop their potential in combination with a solar system, a photovoltaic system or a heat pump. These energy-efficient combination options of different energy sources can help keep heating costs to a minimum. The thermal protection for drainage, the immersion sheath, the deaerator, the fill and drain tap are already integrated into our water heaters and allow optimal and very safe operation.
